| Who are they? | The largest - and the first - nonprofit charitable organization in the world working towards the prevention and improved treatment of stuttering, and reaching over a million people annually. Founded in 1947, the Stuttering Foundation provides free online resources, services and support to those who stutter and their families, support for research into the causes of stuttering, and extensive educational programs on stuttering to professionals. | |
| Our role: |
Provide
advice and counsel on strategies to promote their educational
materials, National Stuttering Awareness Week and other matters of importance to
the Foundation and the people it serves.

| Client Served : | New Mexico Community Development Loan Fund | |
| Who are they? | A private, non-profit alternative lender, providing loans and technical assistance to small businesses and other non-profit organizations throughout New Mexico. | |

Strategic partner, helping the Loan Fund raise its
public profile with newspaper feature stories, talk show interviews, a promotional
video, a newsletter, and articles for other publications.

| Client Served : | Coalition to Save Our Health Resources | |
| Who are they? | A coalition of 21 diverse consumer-advocate, labor union and religious groups, including AARP, New Mexico Advocates for Children and Families, the New Mexico Conference of Churches, New Mexico Public Interest Research Group, and others. In October of 2000, The State of New Mexico granted the Coalition the right to intervene in the sale of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of New Mexico to an out-of-state company. | |

To help the
Coalition publicize the little-known fact
that from April 19 to 27, 2001, New Mexico's Public Regulation Commission would
be holding public hearings about the sale in five communities: Santa Fe,
Albuquerque, Roswell, Las Cruces and Gallup. The Coalition did not oppose the
sale per se, but wanted to be sure that the State would realize the maximum
amount possible from the proceeds of the sale - after all debts were paid.

| Who are they? | NMSD is the state agency that regulates the securities industry in New Mexico. | |

Co-creator of the educational radio series, "Investing Your Money," which has been broadcast on public radio stations throughout the state.

| Who are they? | NMBLA is a professional association for African-American members of the legal profession. | |

Public relations consultant to help create broad community awareness of NMBLA's benefit reception and lecture with attorney Johnnie Cochran, which was organized to raise funds for an endowed scholarship at The University of New Mexico School of Law.

Consultant. We helped this start-up business come up with a new name and logo, develop its mission and positioning statements, and create a brochure, letterhead and business cards.

| Who are they? | ARC is a non-profit humanitarian organization, led by volunteers, that provides relief to victims of disaster and helps people prevent, prepare for and respond to emergencies. | |

Write and design the Mid-Rio Grande Chapter's quarterly newsletter.

| Client Served : | New Mexico Communicators' Council | |
| Who are they? | An umbrella organization for seven professional communications organizations in New Mexico, including The Association for Women in Communications and the Advertising Federation. | |
| Our role: |
On behalf of the Council we organized, promoted, and found funding and in-kind contributions to support "Get Past the Hype and Confusion: Are the Internet and World Wide Web Really for You?" The luncheon was the largest in NMCC's history, attracting over 200 communicators.

| Who are they? | The Albuquerque affiliate of a national organization, NCADD provides advocacy, information and referral, prevention and education, assessment services, family services and interventions, a lawyers' assistance program for the State Bar of New Mexico, and alcohol beverage server training. | |
| Our role: |
Help plan and facilitate the first segment of NCADD's Board of Directors' Retreat, which set the stage for a highly successful, follow-up strategic planning session.
